An icon ladder with five rungs, and traffic lights inline with the panes

Icon sizes across the renderer collapsed onto five rungs, the split glyph draws the split it describes, and the window controls sit in line with the panes instead of on a rail of their own.

The sidebar's icons had eleven sizes between them. Five rungs cover every legitimate use, and the whole renderer is on them rather than just the sidebar.

The split glyph now draws the split it is describing, which is the difference between an icon you read and one you learn.

The traffic lights moved inline with the panes. A dedicated rail above them was fifty pixels of chrome that existed to hold three buttons macOS draws itself.

The sidebar list dissolves at the bottom instead of being cut off, and light mode was given the colours its ramps could not reach. A light theme is an equal mode instead of an inverted dark screenshot.
