Seven palettes, seventeen faces

A real theming system: palettes chosen independently for light and dark, per-colour overrides that run through the same derivation, a contrast control, font pickers, and themes you can carry between two Realms.

Realm's own palette gained a seed, which made it moveable like any other. Everything else follows from that: a palette is twelve values and a derivation, not a stylesheet.

What you can change

  • A palette for light and a palette for dark, chosen separately.
  • Ground, ink and accent moved per palette. The move went through the derivation, so a moved background brings its whole surface ladder with it.
  • How far the ink ramp spreads, as a contrast control.
  • UI and code faces, offered only where the app can actually deliver them, and reaching open terminals too.
  • Sidebar translucency as a switch and an amount, over one number.

Catppuccin, GitHub and Rosé Pine are vendored at their published values rather than approximated, and the ramps are proved to have been measured from the palette they claim. Every one of the seventeen faces is held to a WCAG floor per role.

A theme exports and imports as the twelve values it is made of, so it can be carried between two installations. The Appearance tab shows the window a choice produces next to the choice itself.
