Sub-agents nest under the call that spawned them

A Task's tool calls are drawn underneath the call that started them, counted in the run that owns them, and the session shows which agents it is waiting on.

A delegating session used to produce a flat transcript in which a sub-agent's forty tool calls sat as siblings of the one call that had spawned them. The structure was in the events; the transcript was throwing it away.

Calls now nest. A sub-agent's parent is resolved only among calls already seen, so a late-arriving event cannot re-parent history, and its calls are counted in the run that spawned them rather than in the session at large.

Beside the transcript, a dock lists the agents this session is waiting on. A delegation stays alive independently of whoever is watching it, and the registry is refetched when the socket comes back. A reconnect used to lose the list.
